More drawings from work.

This was actually the second drawing of this. The first one was on my desk at work. It was much better, and it had a little speech bubble saying "FLESH!" which made it cooler. I'm not sure if it was because I was thinking about zombies or what, but I liked it.

Drawings at work

First off, I don't know why I put this guy in a kilt, but it was fun. And I was bored. I guess that's what happens. This is what I'm doing while I'm walking you through how to fix your blackberry. Fun stuff, huh?

found something

I don't have any recollection of doing this. Ever. But I found it. Threw up some planes, rendered and decided it needs to go up here for some reason.

FISHY!

I had a freak out for a second. Couldn't find my 3ds max program. Couldn't open up any of my 3d files. I was scared. But then I found it. And TADA! Rendered a fishy to make sure it worked.

Photoshop drawing

Boredom lead me to start drawing in photoshop and only photoshop. This is what came out. Line work bothers me for some reason. Shading is half-assed and worthless.

Adventures in Caustic

needs a bit of work. some more noise, thin up a few things.. maybe even add a texture or two. and of course some lighting tweaks. i'll get around it later, for some reason it took an hour to render.

Round two. the "water" looks better, but some how I lost the lighting effect. odd.

A few basic textures and it seems to be coming long. It gave me an idea to fix up an old project which is awesome. But, I needs me a few more changes before I call this finished.

Getting closer to where I want it. Not exactly where I thought I'd be going this direction with it when I started, but still, I think it looks pretty awesome.

Interesting enough when you change a few things around. You can see the sphere now, but it doesn't have the blue that I want. It looks like gel now.

Looks pretty good now.. I'm happy with it. Though, I'm going to rewind a bit and take it back to
basics. But that'll be for another time.

And that's actually closer to the way its supposed to look. Now I'm glad I put the ripple in along with the wave. It's been a fun project, but waiting an hour for each render is getting a little ridiculous. Thus ends the adventures in caustics.

Edit: Dammit! My lighting is tweaked and I just now saw it. I don't want to fix it right now. I'll do it later and post it in a week or so.... damn.
